Barracksport
We are delighted to have renewed our sponsorship and support for Barracksport for the upcoming 2024 season. This season we have extended that support by funding the acquisition of the car the team will race thereby ensuring they have full season participation as well as the extra experience of preparing and running their own car.
Barracksport continues to race in the Student Motorsport Challenge, a championship designed to take students from Sixth Form Colleges and Universities and give them the opportunity to experience motorsport in a professional racing environment. This is the only championship of its kind in the world.
In addition, they have also been retained to run James Harvey’s 986 Porsche Boxster S in the CALM All Porsche Trophy and the GSR Citroen C1, owned and driven by James Smith in the Student Motorsport Challenge.
Heading into their third season in 2024, the team are proud to have accumulated awards such as ‘Professionalism and Development’, and ‘Commercial Activity’ at the prestigious BRSCC Awards in 2022 and 2023.
